We are a 4 star lodge & working ostrich farm!! Situated at the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains, 14 km on your way from Oudtshoorn to the World Famous Cango Caves.

We have a big variety of activities: 4x4 route, hiking, fishing, bird watching, two swimming pools , feed our tamed game, horse riding nearby, the Cango Ostrich Farm and plenty more!

Enjoy lunch or dinner in our a la carte Restaurant with a view of our game and the Grobelaars river that crosses our farm. It is a historic building with the Old Mill still inside the Restaurant. Approx. 150 years old. The farm obtained its name from the old mill. All the wheat from the valley was milled on the farm. At that stage there were hundreds of mills all over the country. In Oct. 2003 we changed the old building into a la carte Restaurant. Restaurant open everyday.

We specialize in venison and ostrich dishes. For those who don`t like to go to the extreme, they can enjoy lamb, pasta and many more to choose from.

Also the perfect location for WEDDINGS and FUNCTIONS. Hosts up to 300 people with a spacious dance floor, undercover BBQ facilities, swimming pool area & garden gazebo for your perfect ceremony. Have your perfect wedding photo’s taken with our tamed game. Gazebo seats up to 200 people. The venue has a spectacular view of our farm and the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains.
